Walnut Street Home Set to be Demolished
A two-unit townhouse will replace the residence at 257 Walnut St.
The Westfield Town Council Tuesday evening voted to demolish a single-family home at 257 Walnut St.
Though neighborhood residents sought to preserve the structure for its historical value, the council voted in favor of its demolition, with the exception of Councilman Sam Della Fera.
In its place, a two unit townhouse will be built.
