Monday:

The Board of Adjustment will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building.

Westfield residents can vote on the $13.6 million bond referendum that would fund roof repairs throughout the district. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

NJ Moms Guide is hosting a Child Safety Event with FBI Expert Alan Robinson who will offer tips on ways to prevent your child from abduction, kidnapping and being sexually exploited. Lite Bites and Coffee will be served, Compliments of Whole Foods.  Children Are NOT ALLOWED at this Event due to the nature of the discussion. The event begins at 6 p.m. at Westfield Cooperative Nursery School at 125 Elmer St.

The Westfield Board of Education will meet at 7:30 p.m. at 302 Elm Street.

The Westfield Town Council will meet at 8 p.m. at the Municipal Building.

Wednesday:

The Musical Club of Westfield invites the community to its free, monthly concert at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Westfield. This month's program features the Westfield High School Choral under the direction of John Brzozowski performing a wonderful range of seasonal music.

Featured soloists will be singers Nicole Zimmerman, Matthew Lynn, Geoffrey Ko, Tara Sciortino, Margaret Tanji and Christopher Ick as well as Pianists Eric Mikalauskas and Fraser Weist.The second half of the program will include Lubove Schnable, viola, Debra Biderman, violin, Linda Fink, cello and Carole-Ann Mochernuk, piano with Schumann's Piano Quartet in E flat Major, Op.47. and conclude with Carolle-Ann Mochernuk and Paul Kueter on piano with Aram Khachatourian's Masquerade Suite and A Holiday Pastiche arr. by Paul Kueter. Light refreshments will be served after the concert where you may meet the artists.

Thursday:

Urban Outfitters is expected to open on Saturday, Dec. 15 at the corner of Elm and East Broad Streets.

Amahl and the Night Visitors, a delightful Christmas one-act opera for the whole family, will be presented by Hedgehog & Feather Theatre Company at Holy Trinity Church (corner of Westfield Avenue and First Street) in Westfield on December 15 and 16 from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.
