Savory Spice Shop Adds Second Festive Holiday Bites Class

Chez Catherine's CJ Reycraft demonstrates some favorites.

Savory Spice Shop helps home-cooks prepare for the upcoming season with the following cooking class: Festive Holiday Bites with Chez Catherine's Chef de Cuisine, CJ Reycraft.

Due to popular demand, the East Broad Street shop will host two sessions. The first will begin at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10 and the second will be held the following Monday, Dec. 17, also at 7 p.m.

Each class accommodates 20 to 25 guests and spaces are available for the second session.

Reycraft will be demonstrating some of his favorite recipes, which will be available to take home for participants to test out and share with family and friends as they gather 'round the holiday table to feast on this festive holiday fare.

"Attendees can expect an intimate cooking class," Reycraft said. "I usually do the demo for each course and answer questions during and after each dish."

Following each demonstration, guests will be given a tasting portion of the dish to sample.

"People have brought their own wine and really made a night out of the event," Reycraft said.

The cost is $15 per person. To register, call 908-264-8947 or email westfield@savoryspiceshop.com

What a great opportunity to take a top notch class right in downtown Westfield! We are thankful to our GWACC members for providing our towns great reasons to spend locally!
