Photos: Memorial Day Parade 2011

Veterans, scouts, musicians and community leaders march through town.

Patriotic spirit took over downtown Westfield Monday morning as the Memorial Day parade marched through town. Following annual celebrations at the war memorial, and the groundbreaking on the new Vietnam Veterans Memorial, downtown, grand marshal Bob Riley led the parade down East Broad Street to Fairview Cemetery. With hundreds lining the parade route, scouts, marching bands and community groups showed patriotic spirit, while remembering the sacrifices made by those in the military.
