Photo Gallery: Presbyterian Church Kicks Off Holiday Season
Live nativity and tree lighting draws in crowds.
While a debate continues over whether there is enough hotel space downtown, the Presbyterian Church decided to open up the front lawn for some guests.
The church hosted a live nativity scene along with a tree lighting on the front lawn Sunday afternoon. The nativity featured church members acting out the roles of Mary and Joseph and the wise men. A plethora of animals crowded the lawn, giving an authentic view of a nativity and providing an attraction for the children in attendance. The lawn turned into a mini petting zoo as children and their parents took turns petting and playing with lambs and other furry friends.
