Government Offices Closed Today

Offices shuttered in recognition of Fourth of July.

In order to recognize the Fourth of July on Saturday all government offices are closed on Friday. These include all town, county and state offices in Westfield. The post office will be closed, along with all banks. The Police Department and Fire Department do remain open to handle emergency calls and other assistance calls. The records room and the parking office will be closed. The Municipal Court office is closed but the town judge remains on call to handle emergency bail issues. The Memorial Pool is open today. The offices of U.S. Rep Leonard Lance, R-Hunterdon County, State Sen. Tom Kean, Jr., R-Westfield, and Assemblyman Jon Bramnick, R-Westfield, will be closed today. The Downtown Westfield Corporation will be closed, but DWC officials will continue to host America in Bloom judges during the day.
