1) Annual Washington School Show

Why Go: This is an annual Westfield tradition that's been going strong for decades. Started at the Grant School, the event continues on today at Washington. This year's show is called "Get Sm'Art" and is centered around a group of Washington students solving a crime at the Met.

2) Valentine's Day Dance
Where/When: Friday at 7 p.m. at Reedemer Lutheran School
Why Go: This is a great family event where you can spend a fun Friday night together. A family photo is included.
Pricing: $15 per adult and kids are free.
3) Hedgehog & Feather Presents Nunsense
Where/When: Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church
Why Go: This fun musical is being promoted to fight off the winter duldrums. The show is based on a nun who accidentally poisons her fellow nuns and then needs funds. The remaining nuns form a talent show to raise funds.

4) Beauty and the Beast
Where/When: Mayo Center for the Performing Arts at 100 South Street in Morristown on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Why Go: This is a showing of the classic musical and is great for kids and families. Music from the Disney film will not be shown.

5) Antique and Vintage Radio Exhibit
Where/When: All weekend at the Cranford Public Library, 224 Walnut Avenue in Cranford.
Why Go: Coordinated by the NJ Antique Radio Club, this event shows off the history of radios and various examples of these types of radios.
