Where/When: Sunday from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Westfield

Why Go: Bryan Miller, the executive director of CeaseFire New Jersey will speak at gun violence.

7) 18th Century Courting and Marriage Customs

Where/When: Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Miller Cory House on Mountain Avenue.

8) Best Friend Dog and Animal Adoption Annual Spaghetti Dinner

Where/When: Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 43 South Avenue in Garwood.

Why Go: The group will be serving various sauces with the spaghetti.

Pricing: $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for children under 12.
