1) Maple Sugar Festival

Where/When: Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Great Swamp OEC at 247 Southern Blvd. in Chatham.

Why Go: This is a fun day for kids with maple tapping demos, games, crafts and maple syrup snow cones.

2) Chopiniana and Romeo and Juliet Performed by the Russian National Ballet

Where/When: Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Mayo Center for the Performing Arts at 100 South Street in Morristown.

Why Go: Check out these ballets performed by a traveling ballet.

3) Unpacking the Westfield Historical Society Storage Pod

Where/When: Sunday starting at 10 a.m. at Westfield High School

Why Go: Help out the historical society in getting artificats out for inclusion in the Reeve House. Items will be transported to the Reeve House on Mountain Avenue.

4) Cocktail Sip to Celebrate Black History Month

Where/When: Saturday from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. at the Centennial Lodge 400 I.B.P.O.E. of W at 444 West Broad Street.

Why Go: Celebrate Black History Month with the Centennial Lodge and Temple. The event benefits the Westfield Community Center Fundraising Program.

5) Union County Magnet High School PSA Project Graduation Silent Auction and Dessert Party

Where/When: Friday from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at 1776 Raritan Road in Scotch Plains.

Why Go: This is a fun evening to help benefit a good cause at the county's magnet school.
