Five Things You Need to Know This Week

Five thing going on this week.

1) There will be a clothing drive for the Westfield High School Operation Wallacea trip to Africa all day on Wednesday. You can bring clothing, blankets, pillows, towels, bath rugs, curtains, stuffed animals and toys to the back parking lot by the science wing to drop-off any time during the school day. 2) The town hall meeting on parking and traffic issues near Westfield High School will held Wednesday evening from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The town hall will feature the town's traffic safety consultant, along with school and town officials listening to feedback on the issue.

3) The Town Council will be meeting in conference session on Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. at the Municipal Building.

4) The Board of Education will be meeting Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. in cafeteria B at Westfield High School. A presentation on the proposed school budget is schecduled.

5) The Memorial Library is holding a presentation on the music of Buddy Holly on Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
