1) Dr. Mark Taylor, the religion department chairman at Columbia University, will be speaking at the Memorial Library on his book, "Crisis on Campus" at 7 p.m.

2) There will be a diabetes screening by Overlook Hospital at the Westfield Y from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

3) Vinny Accardi and Trevor McGrath from "Hell's Kitchen" will be doing a cooking demonstration for charity at the Savory Spice Shop from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

4) There will be a community Bible study at the Echo Lake Church of Christ from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

5) Today is the 478th anniversary of Anne Boleyn being crowned Queen of England, the 232nd anniversary of Benedict Arnold being court-martialed, the 199th anniversary of President Monroe asking Congress to declare war on the United Kingdom in the War of 1812 and the second anniversary of General Motors filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
