Positions at Kidville:

Lead Teacher

The primary functions of the Lead Teacher include: energetically teach classes following all lesson plans; lead groups of young children and their parents/caregivers through different activities; ensure that children are in a comfortable, safe, fun environment; build positive relationships with co-teachers, parents, children, and all Kidville team members; being punctual and prepared for classes; accurately complete all necessary class work and paperwork; attend and participate in professional staff development; managing the teaching staff including interviewing, training, scheduling and coverage; overseeing lesson planning and teaching; establishing good relationships with member families; carrying out all Manager-On-Duty responsibilities including opening and closing the facility; and direct involvement in sales. This is an hourly position. Bachelor's degree required, and a minimum of 5 years experience teaching and working with young children.

Teachers, Dance and Gym Instructors

The primary functions of the Teacher / Instructor include: energetically teach classes following all lesson plans; lead groups of young children and their parents/caregivers through different activities; ensure that children are in a comfortable, safe, fun environment; build positive relationships with co-teachers, parents, children, and all Kidville team members;  being punctual and prepared for classes; accurately complete all necessary class work and paperwork; and attend and participate in professional staff development.  This is an hourly position with flexibility to cover weekends as the facility is open seven days per week.  

Guitarists, Vocalists, Pianists, and Drummers: 

Guitarist - Must play guitar and sing well and have solid knowledge of fundamental chords. Vocalist - Must be an excellent singer. Pianist -- Must be an excellent pianist. Must be able to sight-read, follow sheet music, and learn material by listening to MP3s. Must have knowledge of and be able to play multiple styles of upbeat, improvisational music. Must have the ability to follow and improvise. Drummer - Must be an excellent drummer. Must have knowledge of and be able to play multiple styles of upbeat, improvisational music for transitions between songs and activities by following pianist and guitarist. Must have the ability to follow and improvise.
