Scotch Plains Speech Pathologist Acquires Just Babies

Jaci Diamond, longtime Scotch Plains resident and 15-year pediatric speech pathologist veteran, has acquired and taken over the day-to-day management of Just Babies. Under Diamond, Just Babies will continue to provide exceptional care for children ages six weeks through five years. 

"I’m very fortunate to have hands-on director Lauren Wentzheimer and an exceptional staff in place. I look forward to partnering with the existing, experienced caregivers to maintain the center’s reputation for excellence in the community," said Diamond. "Just Babies has always been a well-respected daycare, and I’m excited to use my expertise in Pediatric Development to enhance the center’s programs." 

Diamond, a working mother of two, has spent the last eight years as a Senior Speech-Language Pathologist with Children’s Specialized Hospital, the nation’s largest pediatric rehabilitation hospital. Partnered with a Physical Therapist or an Occupational Therapist, she provided comprehensive developmental evaluations for Early Intervention. Her therapeutic experience focused on collaborating with parents to address speech-language and feeding delays. Additionally, Diamond is a certified Hanen: Learning Language and Loving It therapist; a program designed to guide educators to use interaction strategies to promote language development in their day-to-day classroom activities. 

"I understand the complex demands on today's working parents and recognize the importance of a well-run childcare facility,” added Diamond. 

Just Babies is located at 462 West Broad Street in Westfield, and the center is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 7:00pm.
