Philly Pretzel Factory Reopens

Shop was back in business Saturday.

Philly Pretzels Factory fanatics can rest easy. The South Avenue soft pretzel emporium has reopened.

The store had been closed from June 27 through Friday but was back in business Saturday to the relief of pretzel lovers. A sign that had been posted on the door in late June indicated a dispute between the landlord and the franchise owner, Rick Hendon, but a store employee told Patch Monday she believed the issue has been resolved.

Customers told Patch they were relieved to see the 'open' sign on the door and joked that though they would probably have lost some weight had the shop remained closed, they were glad to grab a pretzel and a frozen lemonade once again.
