New North Avenue Business Invites Public to Open House Today and Tomorrow

While you can't get that holiday haircut just yet, Kennedy's All American Barber Club, will host a pre-grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow.

The upscale barber shop, opened by Westfield residents Dainia and Marc Oren, prides itself on combining luxury with convenience. Men can get a haircut, quick trim, shave or even a manicure, while enjoying a complimentary beverage in a club-like setting.

Located at 226 North Avenue West in Westfield, the franchise is one of three the Orens are opening in New Jersey. Though the barbers won't be available this weekend, the open house is a way to spread some holiday cheer and allow potential customers a chance to tour the barbershop and enjoy the club room while sampling some refreshments. Guests will be able to make a future appointment for one of Kennedy's signature haircuts or shaves.

"Gift certificates available now for purchase," said Dainia. "They make the perfect gift for the man who has everything!"

The first 50 customers will received a free pair of silk knot cufflinks with any purchase.

With more than a decade of experience in the business world, Dainia said she had been looking to open a franchise that featured a unique concept but felt she had previously missed the boat on other opportunities. When her brother-in-law told her about the Kennedy's he'd visited in Connecticut, the eager enterpreneur said she felt the time was right to pursue this new venture.
