Following the overwhelming response and success of the last Girls’ Night Out in October 2012, it is anticipated that more than 1500 women will register and many more will attend.

“The evening has become a biannual event that residents and local business owners look forward to,” noted Sherry Cronin, executive director of the DWC. “Last time 32 percent of the ladies who came were from Westfield, and 135 New Jersey towns and seven other states were represented. We sincerely hope that this time the turnout is as large and diverse.”

Gifts and giveaways have not been disclosed yet, but the entertainment is confirmed to be the live jazz band, Watson, as well as members of the Westfield High School Jazz Band, who will be entertaining at various locations outdoors.  Once again the 'Mens' Night Out' component of Girls' Night Out will be present, featuring chivalrous local dignitaries and volunteers greeting women at the event and opening doors for them outside downtown shops.

The DWC thanks Barnabas Health for their contributing sponsorship of Girls’ Night Out.

Details about this event, including participating businesses, their specials and the registration location, will be available soon at www.westfieldtoday.com/girlsnightout.
