MONDO EAT. SHOP. PLAY is a "new destination" of leisure time activity for youth and adults.
It's a four-story vertical mall of leisure time activity dedicated to the arts of all kinds and is a testimony to the power of entrepreneurship in small communities. I am delighted for each of the entrepreneurs pursuing his or her dream to be in a retail space and serve Summit residents and visitors with the quality, strength and power of their product or service.
The decor is a blend of the industrial, the whimsy and the cozy. Wood artist, Jorn Therkildsen, built the furnishings with reusable materials from the building and beyond. The furnishings show the "world we live in" and celebrate a community where 39 world languages are spoken, multi-faith and multiculturalism thrive and where everyone's walk of life symbolizes the tests and triumphs of the human experience. It will be an eclectic and fun place to eat, shop and play for all of us!
