Westfield's Small Businesses Offer Big Bargains on Black Friday

Shoppers can find deals right in town.

The saying "the early bird gets the worm" is never more true than on Black Friday. But what if that bird wants bagels instead? 

Manhattan Bagel is just one of Westfield's small businesses offering an incentive to those shoppers who get a jump on the season. The South Avenue store will be selling $100 gift cards for just $75 from 5 a.m.- 9 a.m. on November 23. The offer is limited to two gift cards per customer and cash only.

Bittersweet Designs is also running a Black Friday special. For every $100 spent, customers will receive a $20 gift card. The Lenox Avenue boutique even offers gift wrapping. 

Bargains abound at Bath Junkie. Spend $50, and get a free holiday mini mist of your choice. Make two custom products and save 50 percent on a third of equal or lesser value. The shop, located on Central Avenue, also has a bevvy of holiday bath products and stocking stuffers.

Bring this article to Learning Express between noon and 3 p.m. on Friday and save $20 off your $100 purchase. (This offer cannot be used on prior purchases or with other discounts/specials.) 

"We have many in-store specials going on through Dec. 24th," said Learning Express owner Elaine Jordan. "Visit Learning Express Westfield on Facebook to save up to $600."

Savory Spice Shop will have mulled cider brewing to accompany some tasty samples for shoppers to enjoy.

The Farmhouse Store offers complimentary gift wrapping with purchases.

Evalyn Dunn Gallergy is giving a 25 percent discount on all framed art only (exclusions apply.)

Omaha Steaks features the following sales: 40 percent off all regular priced store items plus free shipping, the first 100 customers receive a mystery prize, 73 percent off doorbusters and the grand prize is a year's supply of Omaha Steaks products.

Pegasus Sporting Goods will be donating 10 percent of all Black Friday sales to the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund.
