WANTED: PUPPY LOVE

Foster Homes Needed For Local Rescue Dogs

Brendan's Meadows Rescue, a local non-profit organization, is seeking area families to provide foster homes for rescued dogs in need. Headquartered in Mountainside,  we are an entirely foster-home based rescue; no dogs are placed in a kennel environment.

Being a foster family is a wonderful way to help save a life without the permanent commitment of becoming a dog owner. We also offer a "foster to adopt" program for first time dog owners that may be unsure if making a lifelong commitment is right for them. Whether adopting or fostering, you'll find saving a dog's life to be rewarding, meaningful, and heart-warming.

The number of dogs we can save depends on the number of dogs we can house and we need the support of area dog lovers to succeed. We have a shortage of foster homes!

Where do our dogs come from?

They come from death row in kill shelters, from other rescues, and from owner surrenders. Several of our dogs have come to us from local families that have lost their homes due to financial hardship or divorce.
