Sweet Malcolm Needs a Home

Just wants to be loved.

Do you have room in your heart and home for this adorable 10-month-old Springer mix? If so, please reach out to say "hello" to Malcolm!

Malcolm is a recent addition to Brendan's Meadows Rescue. He became part of the BMR family with his two siblings who came from a neglectful home in WV. Since arriving at BMR he has been staying with a short term foster family in Clark. The home is pretty crowded right now with family dogs, which is why Malcolm needs a family of his own. He attends obedience classes every Tuesday evening in Union. He and his siblings had little training in their youth so we're playing catch-up on leash and overall manners.

Malcolm's foster family reports that he is a LOVE. He craves and soaks up attention.  If you want a loyal best friend and companion, Malcolm is your boy. He is housebroken and crate trained (although he would rather be everywhere you are.) Malcolm should get plenty of exercise; a fenced yard would be a plus, giving Malcolm some play room to burn off that puppy energy. Of course, all dogs benefit from a few daily walks so if you don't have a fence but are able to provide ample exercise, he'll surely benefit. Exercise makes for a much better behaved dog, overall.

Malcolm so wants to please and will benefit from someone who can give him some training time to reinforce what he is learning at puppy school. He does well with children and other dogs. With positive reinforcement training he will make a wonderful addition to a family. He really just wants to love and be loved.

If you are able to offer Malcolm a foster or permanent home, please contact us at Brendan's Meadows Rescue for more information to to make a date to meet Malcolm!
