'Meet Your Special Education Community' to be Held Sept. 11

Parents will have a chance to meet the child study team.

Come join the Westfield Special Education Community for an evening of education and insightful conversation on Wednesday, September 11th at 7:30pm, at the Edison Intermediate School Library, located at 800 Rahway Ave. in Westfield, NJ. 

In the spirit of Back to School our Assistant Superintendant of Pupil Services, Dr. Michael Weissman, and the Westfield Special Education Committee is hosting a roundtable meeting to “Meet Your Special Education Community.” Dr. Michael Weissman will review the latest activities and initiatives in the Special Education environment, including the new Easy IEP implementation, one year later, and other exciting updates. His team of Special Education Experts and the Special Education PTC-Parent Committee--will be on hand to answer questions.

The meeting is scheduled for 7:30-9:00PM and will be a “Roundtable” discussion with members of the Special Education Community, including Dr. Michael Weissman, Assistant Superintendant of Pupil Services and Andrea Lo, Special Ed Supervisor, PreK-12.

In addition, members of the Child Study Team will be present to answer questions you may have with respect to Special and General Education. This program is free and all parents, teachers, and school therapists are invited to attend. Pre-registration is not required.
