Westfield Restaurant Week Kicks Off Sunday

The deals will run until Oct. 10 in downtown Westfield.

The fifth annual Westfield Restaurant Week kicks off this Sunday and ends on Oct. 10. Of the businesses participating 17 are restaurants, two are wine stores and five are dessert places.

Restaurant Week provides $10, $20 and $30 dining options.  All restaurants offer a two-course lunch for $10, Limani Seafood Grill will offer a special three-course dinner for $30 and Ferraro’s will offer a both a $20 and $30 dinner option. All the other restaurants are offering the two-course $20 dinner.

“Westfield has a vibrant downtown and this is just one more reason why people come,” says Sherry Cronin, Executive Director of the Downtown Westfield Corporation. “ They can try a new restaurant or go to one of the existing favorites and get a great meal at a good value.”

Cronin added that people look forward to the value and trying new restaurants.

Participating restaurants include 16 Prospect Wine Bar & Bistro, Acquaviva delle fonti, Boulevard Bistro, The Brick Oven, Cosimo’s, Ferraro’s, Gabi’s Sushi & Noodles, Jeffrey's of Westfield, Limani Seafood Grill, Manhattan Bagel, Mojave Grille, Robert Treat Delicatessen, Splash of Thai, Subway, Theresa's, TInga Tacqueria and Wild Greens. Buy One Get One Free desserts are available from Bovella’s Pastry Shoppe, Carlo’s Bakery, Cold Stone Creamery, Swirl Whirl Yogurt Buffet and Yapple Yogurt. Wine discounts are available at CoolVines, and The Liquor Basket.

"We borrowed the idea several years ago from New York City and it's been great. It's twice a year, every September and February. These discounted prices allow more people than usual to try new restaurants and come out and dine outside while the weather is still warm. " added Jamie Lemberg, Online Marketing Manager of the Downtown Westfield Corporation.
