Westfield Memorial Library Features Woody Allen Discussion and The Art of Infidelity

Speaker Chris Messineo of the Director of the New Jersey Film Institute will talk of Woody Allen's films.

The Westfield Memorial Library is presenting a talk entitled “Woody Allen and The Art of Infidelity” on Jan. 18 at 2 p.m.

No modern writer and director is more prolific or iconic. Drawing equal inspiration from Groucho Marx and Ingmar Bergman, the films of Woody Allen can be hilarious or tragic, but are always filled with his signature style and a fascination for affairs of the heart.

The speaker, Chris Messineo, Director of the New Jersey Film Institute, will explore scenes from “Manhattan,” “Hannah and Her Sisters,” “Crimes and Misdemeanors,” and “Match Point.” Mr. Messineo is a thoroughly entertaining and knowledgeable speaker.
