'The Dark Knight Rises' in Westfield

Gotham City’s favorite superhero hits the big screen at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, June 20 at Westfield's .

“The Dark Knight Rises,” the latest installment of the Batman franchise starring Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine , and Anne Hathaway, is rated PG-13 and has a running time of 2 hours and 55 minutes.  

Portions of the film were shot last year in the city of Newark. 

The thriller will also be shown Friday at: 11:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m.,  2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m.,  6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m.,  8:00 p.m.,  9:30 p.m., and 10:30 p.m.

Tickets for “The Dark Knight Rises” are available online and are $11 for adults $8.50 for children and $9.50 for seniors.
