Sloan Wainwright Returns to Westfield

Coffee With Conscience Series kicks off 13th season

Sloan Wainwright returns to Westfield to open the 13th season of the Coffee With Conscience series at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13 at the First United Methodist Church.

Coming from a musical family that includes brother Loudon, nephew Rufus and niece Martha, Wainwright is known for her originality in mixing folk, rock, jazz and blues.

Norwalk, Conn.-based singer/songwriter Cadence Carroll will open the show.

Proceeds from this concert benefit the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.
