Gallery U Launches Contemporary Art Exhibit on Jan. 9

The following information was provided by the Contemporary Art Group.

Gallery U Boutique in Westfield will be presenting a special exhibition of artwork  by members of the Contemporary Art Group. An opening reception will be held  on Thursday, January 9 from 6-9pm. The exhibition will remain on display until  February 6, 2014. Sales from the exhibit will benefit the gallery’s mission.

Participating artists include Francesca Azzara, Millicent K. Brody, Virginia Carroll,  Michael Endy, Maryann Ficker, Diane Gallo, Maxine King, Howard Levine, M.  McCrary-Anderson, Linnea Rhodes, Sharon Sayegh, Dorothy Siclare, Rosalia Verdun, Kerri Ann Wandlass and Gail Winbury. 

The Contemporary Art Group is a non-profit, collegial organization of working  artists who meet on a regular basis at Watchung Arts Center and exhibit their work together. CAG is a supportive group where there is mutual respect among members,  where members exchange ideas, provide information about exhibit opportunities, and share their own artistic development.
