Adapted from Lewis Carroll's beloved novel, the show follows Alice as she journeys through a bizarre and hilarious world where big is small, flowers talk, and the tea parties are "mad."

Other performances will be at 7:30 on Friday, Oct. 21, and a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, Oct. 23.

"'We are taking an old-fashioned classic and bringing it to 2011" said the show's director, Kimberly Jonny, who is also a drama and public speaking teacher at Roosevelt. Jonny said that she and the cast are updating the show to make it even more fun for modern-day audiences. "Don't be surprised if you hear a little Justin Bieber!"

A portion of the show's proceeds will go to Brookside Place Elementary School in Cranford, which was damaged by the flooding associated with Hurricane Irene.
