Westfield and Mountainside, N.J., are both known for their many beautiful homes, both old and new, of myriad styles. The Hearth and Home Kitchen Tour, back this year after a phenomenal turn-out last year, will give the public a chance to see seven of these homes from the inside.
The self-guided tour, scheduled for Sat., Oct. 20, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is a fund-raiser for Holy Trinity Interparochial School, Westfield. There will be cuisine to sample from local chefs and bakers; the homes' contractors and designers on hand to discuss ideas; raffle items at one of the houses; and gift bags for the first 400 guests.
