Welcoming back last year's "Christmas Time in the City" concert performers, alumni singers from The Continuo Arts Choruses, Westfield High School, the Oak Knoll School and the Presbyterian Church of Westfield will form a combined 'alumni' chorus to present portions of "A Carol Fantasy" by Stephen Edwards premiered in Carnegie Hall last season. According to conductor Candace Wicke, "Annually, we look forward to this being a time to reconnect with singers, families, our community, and provide an opportunity to "usher in the season" together as a holiday tradition.  We are doing our best to insure each singer receives an invitation but everyone can help by reaching out to alumni colleagues and friends to spread the news, everyone is welcome!  Alumni singers will meet for rehearsal at 3:30 p.m. the day of the performance."

Sponsored in part by the H.E.A.R.T. (History, Education, Arts Reaching Thousands) Grant from the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the concert is free and open to the public; donations will be accepted at the door. The Presbyterian Church of Westfield is located at 140 Mountain Ave. For questions or further information visit www.continuoarts.com, the Continuo Arts FaceBook page, or call the Continuo Arts Foundation at 908.264-5324.
