TV Stars to Appear at Westfield’s Monster Mash

Event featuring actors from 'The Walking Dead' and 'Ghost Hunters International' will benefit boy with cancer.

Television actors will join the party at Westfield’s Temple Emanu El’s Monster Mash Mayhem party on Saturday to raise money for a 2-year-old boy fighting cancer.

The party will feature a meet and greet with actors from television shows such as, “The Walking Dead,” “Ghost Hunters,” Ghost Hunters International,” “Haunted Collector,” and “The Addams Family,” as well as a dinner, dancing, prizes and more.

Tickets are $56 per person and feature the meet and greet as well as a dinner. Costumes are optional, but those dressed up can compete in the “Haunted Costume Contest.”

“We will also be trying to raise some funds for our little 2-year-old buddy Max Brimhall and his family at this event by having a Monster Grand Prize Raffle and a segment (called) Monsters for Max where the zombies and monsters will be coming around to put the bite on you,” Bruce Tango of “Ghost Hunters” said.

The event will take place from 6:30 to 11 p.m. at Temple Emanu El Hall at 756 E. Broad St. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Celebs expected: Bruce Tango of “Ghost Hunters,” Joe Chin of “Ghost Hunters International,” Felix Silla who played Cousin It on “The Addams Family,” Kylie Szymansky who plays Penny Blake on “The Walking Dead,” Mike Koske, who plays 42 different zombies on “The Walking Dead,” Brian Cano from “The Haunted Collector,” Mike Christopher from “Dawn of the Dead” and Brett McGinnis of “Ghost Hunters Academy.” In addition several paranormal experts and entertainers will be on hand including: CC the Huntress, a paranormal hunter and TV personality; Gentleman Jim, an Elvis Presley Impersonator; MJX, a Michael Jackson Impersonator and radio personality Rock with the Shock.

Students from Cranford High School will also be dressed up as monsters and zombies to provide a scare, as well as actors from various Union County theatre groups.
