Submitted by Helene Coustan

On June 23, at Shackamaxon Golf & Country Club, Westfield resident Brad Coustan hosted the 2nd Annual Bradstrong Golfs Against Cancer fundraiser to raise money for the urgent research for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF). Over 200 supporters attended the event with net proceeds garnering over $80,000 for cancer research.

Brad was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2012 and his #bradstrong movement is truly making a difference in the fight of the disease (bradstrong.me). At the outing, Brad and his wife Helene received the Spirit of Hope award from Brooke Roberts of the MMRF.
