Three-Mile Traffic Delay On Central Avenue
Heavy traffic has accumulated on Central throughout the day.
Traffic on Central Avenue is backed up about three miles since traffic is down to one lane.
Due to road work, there is only one available lane on the road. At about 2:30 p.m., delays were visible from Connecticut Street to Sycamore Street and at times the delays spread even further.
At approximately 4 p.m., the traffic was backed up from South Avenue to Massachusetts Avenue. The construction was being conducted on a lane in the area of Harrow Road.
