Play For P.I.N.K Golf Outing In Westfield, July 16

Shackamaxon Country Club will provide the setting for a golf outing, luncheon, tricky tray and silent auction on July 16 to benefit Play for P.I.N.K.  All proceeds from this annual golf tournament and fundraiser will benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  

This event is open to women AND men and all guests are asked to wear festive pink and white attire to show their support!  

The golf tournament begins with an 8:30 AM shotgun start and is followed by the luncheon and auctions at noon. Even non-golfers are encouraged to attend and can purchase a ticket to the luncheon and auction without the round of golf.  The guest speaker of the event is Gergory Carey, MAcOM, L. Ac., Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM) of Health in Motion, Westfield, NJ. 

He will be discussing the effects of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, Tuina and Qigong on a healthy lifestyle. Many local businesses have shown their support through generous donations to the tricky tray and silent auction. 

So far, there are over 70 prizes up for grabs! Health in Motion, Westfield, has donated 5 yoga classes, complete with mat, and 2 acupuncture treatments with guest speaker, Greg Carey. Adlers Jewelers, Westfield, has donated a lovely gift basket. 

A bicycle, donated from Jay’s Cycle Center, Westfield, is a perfect item to compliment the underlying value of Play for P.I.N.K. in staying active.  Ohana Medical Spa, Scotch Plains, has donated a massage and facial.  For the Yankees fans, there are even 4 Yankees tickets on the auction block. 

Facial Reality Spa and Salon, Westfield, has donated a massage and facial and Limani Grill, Westfeild, has offered a gift certificate to their acclaimed restaurant.  For those who’d like a bit of a makeover, the John Sahag Workshop, Madison Ave, NYC, has donated a haircut with Gabrielle.  

Local milliner, Joy Design Inc., of Westfield, has offered a wonderful hat, Cerise, which has been custom designed for the event in honor of the designer, Marion Schwartz’s aunt, who passed due to breast cancer.  

These are just some of the many goods and services to be auctioned to benefit this worthy cause! 

Tickets for this July 16 Play for P.I.N.K. event at Shackamaxon Country Club, 1607 Shackamaxon Drive, Scotch Plains,  may be purchased online at www.playforpink.org/shackamaxon.
