My Way Home Receives $1,000 Through the Allstate Foundation 'Agency Hands in the Community' Program

Westfield Allstate New Jersey Exclusive Agent Ron Bansky presents grant to local non-profit organization

Allstate New Jersey Insurance Company Exclusive Agent Ron Bansky of Westfield presented My Way Home with a $1,000 grant as part of The Allstate Foundation’s "Agency Hands in the Community" program.

The Agency Hands in the Community program, which began in 2003, recognizes Allstate New Jersey agents’ volunteerism within the community and provides financial support to organizations through The Allstate Foundation.

My Way Home is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting homeownership opportunities for working professionals from all income levels and economic backgrounds.

In September, Bansky, who has been an Allstate New Jersey agent in Westfield for 12 years, also presented a $1,000 grant for Safe Kids Union County, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing injury prevention directly to kids and their families.

“The very fabric of Allstate New Jersey consists of people who care about their local community,” said Danny Jovic, spokesperson for Allstate New Jersey Insurance Company. “The Agency Hands in the Community program is a powerful way for Allstate New Jersey agents to get involved with their local nonprofits and partner with them in making their communities stronger and safer places.”

The Allstate Foundation awards $2 million every year to nonprofit organizations across the country in honor of dedicated Allstate agency owners who give back. To be eligible for nomination, Allstate New Jersey agents must be a current and active volunteer or lead a nonprofit of their choice.
