Mommies 24/7 Group Launches in Westfield

The group is a network for local moms that features events, shopping deals and more.

A network for local moms is launching at the end of February for Westfield, Cranford, Scotch Plains, Mountainside mommies.

Founder and CEO of Mommies 24/7, Sarah Himmelbaum, who recently moved to Westfield, created the group in Hoboken in 2011.

Mommies 24/7 has now been popping up in other areas throughout New Jersey, but now that Himmelbaum has made the move, she and Westfielder Heather Paone are launching the site in Westfield.

Westfield Mommies 24/7 will serve as a network for local moms and provide parents with deals from local stores, chances to win raffles and prizes from the group’s national and local partners, as well as a website with everything from quick easy recipes, product recalls, forums, classifies and more.

“I instantly saw synergy between what we do and how we could help parents in the area along with local businesses,” Himmelbaum said.  “Also, many of our moms who live in Hoboken end up moving to the Westfield area and we get constant requests to launch where our Hoboken members move.”

Himmelbaum explained that the group is different due to their local approach to helping the community and offering unique events. She added that events could range from boutique crawls, expectant mom socials and Mommies Night Out.

Several local businesses are already looking forward to the group’s launch, Himmelbaum explained. She hopes local moms will be excited for it as well.

For more information on Mommies 24/7 visit the group on Facebook or at their websites, westfield.mommies247.com. Read more about Himmelbaum, here.

Pre-registration for the group is ongoing and anyone who registers before the site’s official launch will receive a special deal.
