Junior Woman’s Club Hosts 27th Annual Spelling Bee

Competition is open to 4th and 5th graders.

The annual 4th and 5th Grade Spelling Bee will take place in Cafeteria B of the Westfield High School on the following evenings: 

4th grade competition- TUESDAY, JANUARY 22ND 

5th grade competition- WEDS, JANUARY 23RD

Final competition- MONDAY, January 28TH  SNOW DATE: JANUARY 29TH

Students who would like to participate must attend a Westfield school. A completed registration form must be handed in to the school’s main office by Thursday, January 17, 2013. Each student will be given a practice list of words upon return of the registration form below. Practice list words are similar to words in the competition, but no word is guaranteed to appear in the competition.

Prizes will be awarded to the first place and runner up of the final competition and each student will receive a Certificate of Participation. Winners of the final competition will represent Westfield at the District Spelling Bee. Check-in for each night of competition begins at 7:00pm with the Spelling Bee start time of 7:30 p.m. Please submit the signed Code of Conduct form at check-in.
