Whitney Houston Headstone Recalls Singer's Famous Song

More than a year after her death, singer's final resting space in Westfield now has a tombstone.

More than a year after she was laid to rest in Westfield's Fairview Cemetery, late singer/superstar Whitney Houston finally has her headstone, TMZ reports.

The heart-shaped stone is engraved with lyrics from what many consider her most famous song, which was written by Dolly Parton.

The marker reads:

'Whitney E. Houston Aug. 9, 1963 -- Feb. 11 2012
THE VOICE
'I Will Always Love You.'

Houston, a Newark native who had long battled with drugs and alcohol, died after drowning in a hotel bathtub in Los Angeles hours before the 2012 Grammy Awards. Her star-studded funeral brought thousands to Newark on Feb. 19. The following day, hundreds lined Westfield streets as the songstress' body was brought to Fairview Cemetery.
