Holy Trinity Interparochial School Hosts Used Clothing and Toy Drive

Collection benefits Sandy victims.

Holy Trinity Interparochial School’s Fall Used Clothing and Toy Drive will be held as a fund-raiser for Hurricane Sandy victims. The collection will be held Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, from 8 a.m. to noon, behind the school on Watterson Street, Westfield.

Most organizations in impacted areas are now requesting specific items or monetary donations. Therefore instead of donating the items directly, the profits from the collection will be donated to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Trenton to be used along the shore where the need is greatest.

The following new or gently used items will be accepted: clothes, shoes, handbags, bedding, curtains, cloth tablecloths, linens, stuffed animals and toys. No books will be accepted. Bags or boxes of items can be dropped off on Watterson Street, directly behind the school, rain or shine.  For further information, please email: hsa@htisnj.com.
