5) Today is the 102nd anniversary of Tokyo Mayor Yukio Ozaki presenting President Taft with 2,000 cherry blossom trees which the president plants next to the Potamac River in Washington and the 91st anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment to the U.S. Constitution which guarantees women's sufferage.
