Driver For Special Needs Students In Union County Struck And Killed On Garden State Parkway

A driver working for Union County Educational Services transporting special needs students to school was struck and killed on the Garden State Parkway Tuesday morning, according to the Elizabeth Public Schools website

He was waiting outside of the vehicle for help with a flat tire when he was struck by another vehicle driving along the parkway. According to the school's website, the children were transported to school safely. 

The driver has been identified as Pedro Guerrero, 48, of Passaic, according to nj.com
