Coat Drive Extended to Nov. 22 at Westfield Memorial Library

New or gently-used coats for men, women and children are needed.

The Junior Woman’s Club of Westfield will be holding a coat drive at the Westfield Memorial Library from November 2-22, 2012. We are seeking new or gently used coats for men, women and children.

The coats will be donated to the Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless in support of Operation Warm Heart. Operation Warm Heart addresses the needs of the street homeless, particularly in harsh winter weather.  Each night through the cold winter months one of their partner churches provides hospitality, a warm meal and a place to sleep for up to fourteen guests.  Each winter they serve well over one hundred individuals in Operation Warm Heart, and have been able to effect lasting changes in many lives.

Please take a moment to support this worthwhile charity. Donations may be dropped off at the Westfield Memorial Library through Nov. 22.
