World Yoga Day at the Y is Sunday, Feb. 23

Join the 4th Annual World Yoga Day program at the Westfield Area Y, 220 Clark Street on Sunday, February 23 from 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm.  All around the world on this day people will be practicing yoga together.  The Y invites the community and surrounding areas to join a variety of yoga sessions.  You do not have to be a Westfield resident or Y member to attend.

The 2.5-hour event will include a universal yoga class, your choice of 2 out of 6 concentrated workshops, and a powerful closing session.  Even those who are new to the idea of yoga may come for exploratory sessions and workshops.  The workshops are designed to encompass all levels of yoga practitioners, beginners to advanced as well as those who prefer to stay in a chair.  Yoga instructors from the area will share their time and talents for the afternoon.  All participants will receive 2 free weeks of yoga classes at the Y.

Whether you practice regularly or are simply curious about yoga, this will be a wonderful experience.  The suggested contribution of $25 will benefit the Strong Kids Campaign.  This provides direct financial assistance to enable individuals in need who live or work in Westfield, Cranford, Garwood, or Mountainside to participate at the Y.
