Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad Starts 2014 Fund Drive

Members of the Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad received a proclamation from Westfield mayor Andy Skibitsky at the March 4th,  town council meeting. The proclamation announces the start of the squad's 2014 fund drive and proclaims that "March 2014 is Westfield Rescue Squad month" in Westfield.

Squad officers on hand, posing after receiving the proclamation are: Steve Becker, deputy-captain, Lynn Feldman, vice-president, Reid Edles, president, David Ozga, captain and Bobby Dougher, treasurer.

The 63 year old squad provides BLS emergency medical services to the community of Westfield. It is supported entirely by donation and relies on the fund drive to support its day-to-day operations. For more information on the fund drive or how to become a member, please call 908-233-2500.
