Westfield Resident Competes in Transplant Games With Donor

Liver transplant recipient Matt Felix of Westfield (R) competes at the Transplant Games of America with his best friend and donor, Patrick Kacani (L). The games took place in Houston, July 11-15. Both men are part of Team Liberty, a program of NJ Sharing Network that comes together at the Transplant Games of America, and all year round, to promote the success of organ transplantation, and to raise awareness for the urgent need of organ and tissue donation. Nearly 5000 people in New Jersey are awaiting life-saving organs.
