Westfield couple hosting Rett Syndrome Benefit Saturday

Saturday night, October 19, from 7:00 – 11:00 p.m., Westfield residents Tony and Jennifer Shober will host “Cocktails for a Cure,” in honor of their daughter Ysabel and other girls who are fighting Rett Syndrome.

The Shobers are holding the benefit at Plainfield Country Club to raise awareness and funds for Girl Power 2 Cure, an organization supporting families affected by Rett Syndrome, a debilitating neurological disorder.  Tickets are $125 per person, and tickets will be available at the door.  Entertainment will be provided by The Spinners, and attendees will have the opportunity to bid on a number of silent auction items, including designer handbags, Disney World park tickets, beach and Poconos vacations, and tickets to sporting events with the Yankees, Devils, Rutgers and more.
