WESTFIELD ARTS PAINTING COURSE OFFERED AT THE WESTFIELD AREA Y THIS FALL

Discover the art of painting this fall at the Westfield Area Y, 220 Clark Street in Westfield.  This class is a great opportunity for those who have admired a beautiful painting and wished they had the ability to explore their creative talent and ability and create a similar work. Westfield Art Association President, Paul W. Deroo Ph.D., will present a Beginner’s Painting for Adults course at the Y this fall. Sessions will run for eight Mondays, 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm, from September 16th - November 4, 2013.  Class size will be limited to 20 to allow for adequate personal attention to participants.

Through a systematic introduction to acrylic painting, participants will enjoy acquiring the basic knowledge and skills to plan and create successful architectural, land/seascape, botanical and figurative artworks.

Registration for this program runs from August 16th - August 31st.  Interested participants can register at the Welcome Center at the Westfield Area Y.
