Westfield Area Y Flyers Host 2nd Annual Flyers Youth Track And Field Meet

The Westfield Area Y is pleased to announce the 2nd annual Flyers Youth Track and Field Meet. The meet will be held on Sunday, June 22ndat Kehler Stadium at noon. Open to the community, approximately 500 youth ages 7-16 will compete in running, jumping and throwing events. This is a USATF sanctioned meet. Ribbons will be awarded for 1st through 6th place.

This year, a one-mile adult run has been added, for a $15 suggested tax-deductible contribution. Proceeds will benefit the Westfield Area Y Strong Kids Campaign, which provides direct financial assistance to ensure that no one who lives or works in Westfield, Cranford, Garwood or Mountainside and is suffering a bona fide financial hardship is turned away from the Y for inability to pay.
