The Strength of Women

We know never to question the strength of a woman. We all know women are strong. Women can be leaders through life’s challenges and all things to many people.  The strength of a woman comes in many forms, including resilience, strength that results from overcoming hardships, and a silent, inner strength. But what about physical strength? That’s the result of a different kind of hard physical work and mental perseverance. I’m talking about the strength of your body, your muscles, your bones – the resulting physical strength that comes from specific strength training exercises which build muscles, shed body fat, strengthen bones, and stave off disease.

What comes to mind when you hear the words “strength train?”  Strength training isn’t just for men. It doesn’t mean you will necessarily “bulk up.” Strength training is just that – working out with the goal of getting stronger.  Why would women want to strength train? Simply put, women of every age want to look and feel their best.  The reasons in favor of strength training are many:  If you want to be more confident, lose body fat, look better, have a more positive mindset, reduce stress, prevent diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes and osteoporosis, be a great example to your family, and simply be a more AWESOME YOU, then you need to strength train.

At Get In Shape For Women, we understand that each woman we meet has a unique life, body, exercise and nutritional needs, and goals.  Many have tried other means of reaching those goals, but haven’t always been successful. When they allow us to teach them our method of how to properly combine strength training, cardio activity, nutrition and accountability, they finally start achieving the rewards of the life changes that they have always wanted. We tailor a program specifically for each woman since no woman is the same.  There is nothing better than being mentally and physically stronger. Come talk to us and learn how you CAN achieve.  Call (908) 228-2085 for a complimentary training session and see how we can make a stronger you.
