The Contagious Drama Workshop presents: "SOS: Stories of Sandy"

For the fourth consecutive year, the Contagious Drama Workshop Teens take on original short plays created just for them. This year the playwrights include not only Ben Clawson, as in past years, but also other playwrights from NJ to CA , one of whom is WHS’s own Alexa Derman.
S.O.S is a collection of short plays written for the teen students at CDW. After experiencing Hurricane Sandy first hand, the group thought that it would be a great subject to write about.
Through power outages, gas lines, friendships, love, loss and connection, we see the profound effects Sandy had on all of us. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll be glad you came.

Performances are Friday, Jan. 17th at 7:30 pm and Saturday, Jan. 18th at 2 pm and 7:30 pm. Tickets are $5/students $8/adult
Students come free for the Saturday matinee (just bring a student ID)

There will be a talk back with the playwrights and cast immediately following the Friday performance.
