The CANswer Project Hosts Successful Event for Cancer Research

On May 17, local artisans and food vendors gathered at St. Theresa's in Kenilworth, NJ for The 'Burb, a neighborhood street fair hosted by the CANswer Project. The CANswer Project successfully reached their goal of $50,000 to raise awareness of cancer prevention research.

The CANswer Project
is a New Jersey based foundation dedicated to finding answers to prevent cancer. Founder and Chairwoman Stefania Colossimo created the idea of “the burb” when the community came together after passing of her mother last June.

The day-long festival featured over 40 local businesses, ranging from restaurants and boutiques to salons from the surrounding communities. Hundreds of people came out to support their communities and enjoy music, food and games!
